Lessons and Courses
We offer both introductory courses and expert tuition from some of the top coaches in the country. A range of affordable polo tuition options can be tailored to suit the needs of our guests and their participation interests. Private lessons, practice chukkas, polo games and tournaments can be arranged for individuals or groups. Our private lessons take you through the rules and theory, basic to advanced riding skills, a wooden horse sessions, stick and ball practice and afternoon chukkas. Best followed by a sundowner at the bar to take it all in.
Oakland Polo Club has a stable of well-trained and safe horses. As hostlers, we take great care in our grooming, stabling and training our horses, and as a result we can accommodate players of all experience levels. With access to expert trainers and polo coaches, you will be in good hands and safe saddle.
Oaklands Polo Club hosts two major tournaments; the Cupids Cup in May and the Fuimus Cup in October. These Winter and Summer events are a calling card for polo enthusiasts to come out in support and champion the sport in refined country style.

Polo Holiday Package
Our Polo Holiday package combines accommodation, polo activities and delicious meals in our restaurant. Start your days with a morning stick and ball session, and daily wooden horse lesson, followed by a hearty lunch and afternoon chukkas. Enjoy a two-course dinner in our cosy restaurant; head chef Kathy Romer-Lee prepares delicious home-style food that is unfussy, but big on flavour.
The Student Package starts from R4180.00 per day and our Non-Student Package starts from R5620 per day, and green fees are included. We can also tailor-make a package to suit your conference or team-building requirements.
